The trek to Everest Base Camp is a 105 km round trip that typically takes 10-14 days, allowing for ample time to acclimatize at a relaxed pace. Along the way, you'll be treated to stunning views of Mount Everest, as well as other impressive peaks such as Lhotse, Makalu, Cho Oyu, and Ama Dablam.

Accommodation
The trails to Everest Base Camp are dotted with lodges and tea houses. Hence, you do not need to spend a night in tent camps.
Accommodation along the Everest Base Camp route consists of tea houses and lodges. These establishments offer basic yet comfortable rooms, perfect for weary trekkers to rest and recharge.
The rooms typically include a bed with a mattress, blanket, and pillow. For comfort, we still recommend you pack a well-suited sleeping bag.

Food on the track
Embarking on the Everest Base Camp trek requires careful consideration of your nutritional needs at high altitudes. Along the trail, tea houses and lodges offer a diverse range of local and international cuisines.

Experience the essence of Nepali cuisine with dal bhat tarkari, momos, and tsampa – sustaining meals crucial for the trek.

For sustained energy, pack trail-friendly snacks such as protein bars and nuts and consider stocking up on snacks in Kathmandu before your ascent.
