So far Monica has taken her work to Italy, Germany, Spain (Ibiza, Maiorca), the United States (Philadelphia, Berkley), Mexico, Costa Rica and she looks forward to sharing her passion in new locations over the coming years.
In the way she shares her knowledge and teachings, there is the intent to contribute to the growing global community of people committed to re-establishing a balanced relationship with the Earth. Monica expresses her holistic vision and passion through her lifestyle, educational courses, workshops, retreats, and support for conscious degrowth and environmental rights causes.
Monica currently splits her time between sharing her teachings around the globe and the sacred mountains of Amiata where she wildcrafts herbal remedies and dances in the wild nature. There she is collaborating with Asha Retreat Center and Cornacchino Horse Farm, where she teaches her arts in the Alchemy School Breathwork Retreat and Yoga and Horsemanship Retreat.
A path parallel to her life as a dance artist is her curiosity and dedication to the ancient oriental disciplines and philosophies, such as Buddhism, Taoism, Wabi Sabi. She found great inspiration from the ancient Dharma teachings of Theravada Buddhism, which infused her embodiment practices with more consciousness.
Among her Teachers her big recognition goes to Marina Borruso who changed her mental attitude toward life in a more joyful, present and free way. Marina’s teaching continues to echo in Monica’s life and teachings, her purpose is to share this “way of being” to others.
“I wake up every morning to honor this body with care, supporting it so that it can support this life that is given to me.”
